Just Before The Years Up!!!

Hey Everyone Can u believe a whole year has past already. I certainly cant!!!! Thought I would jst pop on and say hi before this year ends as I never seeem to rite anything on here anymore. This year alot has happened like some of us did our duke of edinburgh silver and learnt how u can have fun even when u have wet feet that smell alot (kate was the culprit) , some of us turned 16 and celebrated it well with parties like Eilidhs dressing up thing, Bens party where I got completly freaked out by Saw 2 and Lauries party with the awesome bouncy castle, Jean joined our group, we became 5th years a scary time!!!, Lisa met a few fellows in Bulgaria, and ben joined the gay side and started straighting his hair (thats to get him back for not helping me rite this as he was far to busy coming his lucious locks to bother with ittle wittle me!!!).

My mum has jst shouted that mince pies are out so i better dash as there my fav. and I spent the whole day tracking them down.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE HOPE 2007 IS JUST AS GOOD AS 2006 HAS BEEN!!!!!!!

Christmas Dance 2006

Yes, i am a little bit late in posting the christmas dance pictures, but im so used to relying on Ben to take and post all the picks that i don't really know how to do it. Last time i tryed to make a post it didn't work, and i havn't done one since, hence i havn't posted in like six months. My laptop is broken, so I have to use the old computer and its so sloowwwww, it won't even play my tunes, which is gay. This is a very gay computer in general and iTunes won't import music quickly. And its so gay that the usb port is too loose and my ipod keeps disconnecting, that is beyond gayness and into the realms of...............i dno into the sumthin else, im not sure wot. But today is good because I have my new ipod, woop! as Lisa and Laurie and Gillian and anyone else who sez woop would say. My ipod is blk and sexy lol, kidding on, i am in no way attracted to my ipod, it is cute. But it has taken me since 3.30 to sync 153 songs to it. Its not fun.
Anyway guys, I was really on to say hope you all had a good xmas and all u ppl meetin up tomorro, see you tomorro, o well i better get back to makin my ipod eat my music,

Hi everyone, how are you doing? Thats wonderful.
Well, since you asked -yes you did- im not feeling to great. I blame Lisa for the wandering about Fintry last night, it was FREEZING COLD! But don't worry Lisa, it was a lot of fun! Wandering about singing to Lily Allen in the dark with Bekki. Trust me folk, it was more fun than it sounds. Anyhoo, so yeh im kinda sick. And i was really looking forward to going into Glasgow today.
You might have noticed im posting quite a few more blog posts than usual. Well, ive stolen mum's laptop again! hahaha.

My Merry Christmas Postage

Hello everyone!
Thanks for taking the time to stumle upon the fintryblog this christmas holiday!
I trust Santa has been good to you all and that you all have lots of nice new things to play with.
I'm currently sitting by the fire on my mums new macbook (w00t!) and watching doctor who on our new sky+ and HDTV. that about sums up my xmas presents :)
I really cant think of much to say now, other than to wish you all a very very merry merry christmas and to have a great time at new year and the rest of the holidays. I'm so kind arnt i? :P
I'd also just like to mention something else. You guys. You all rock, in a very big way. I love you all so much, and i know that this year would just not have been the same without you.
I think it would be much easier for me and my fingers if i just copied and maybe adapted the things i have written about yo all on my myspace profile. sorry if u were looking for sometingmore original but hey, its xmas, gimme a break!

LISA (aka LEESA, Lil' Elfie, BENS STAR NUMBER ONE) well what is there to say about this wee lass? shes a hyper crazy random bunch of wonderfulness. Lisa and me have been through a hellof a lot........ .....of red bull in the last 5 or so years of my life, things just were not the same before i met her. shes sitting right next to me at this very moment you know. The Fun(nest) Weekend

well hello there! as you all know we were offski for the weekend for a bit of a journey on a big bus.
yes. it was fun :)
bus journey down was pretty awful.
and then to get on the ferry at like 4AM and having to write stupid French and German phrases.
yea. it was a nightmare btw.
but apart from that it was pretty good!
the markets were awesome :)
pretty lights and unusual presents.
i didnt buy anything for you guys. sorry. well. maybe.
There was massive Elephants in Lille.
Pauls was very posh :S
went on the big ferris wheel! it was biiggg!
The Holland markets were, em, strange.
the whole creepy fairies and hanging elfs was pretty morbide.
we were allowed to buy alchohol too cause the age limits 16 over there.
we had a lot of fun!
i got home today at like 8.40.
i had a hangover. ive never had one before.
they suck.
so now, after buying my Christmas dance dress and having a shower, im going to sleep for a bit!

Bluuuuuuuuuue Veeeeeeeeelvet

I have had a super day and I've only been up for three hours. w00t!
I spent the first hour explaining to Dom how I couldn't come out today, that was so super but he left in the end.
Then I cleaned out my rat cage cuz they were getting a little smelly, I still haven't named them yet and it's been a week :s
But here's the really super thing, I found my legs! They have been missing since Hallowe'en. I turned out they were inside my cushion, actually inside it not just under it, I had to unzip it and take everything out to get them.
Also I may have told some of you that I thought I had screwed up the camera on my phone because I thought the cover for the lens was a wee plastic sheet to stop it from getting scratched and puled it halfway out before realising it wasn't. Well as it turns out I was wrong, or right whichever way you want to look at it, because it was a wee plastic cover to stop it from getting scratched. It was just bigger than I expected. On a related note, I now know that my phone camera is better than I previously thought for the second time this year.

I still have lots to do today, I have to tidy my room and finish my English essay that was supposed to be finished last Wednesday, then if I have time I may format my hard drive on my PC to see if it will run any faster.

Ha, Ben just sent me an article about how much the zune sucks, It won't even work with Vista. Great forward planning there Microsoft.

My name is Euan McGarvie (5c3) and am writing to you on behalf of those who use the drama studio as a common room during lunch times. We are writing with regards to the letter that was given to us during lunch time today giving us information on the changed rules on the use of common rooms and would like to express some concern over some of the new rules..

We have read over the new revised common room rules and many of us have some issues with the some of the new rules , namely the rules concerning not being allowed to bring food into the common room.

We are aware that there are some pupils of the school who abuse rights and do not follow the current rules regarding common rooms. However, we feel that restricting every student, including those who don’t abuse the rights given to them, only makes things worse.

We can understand that food is not allowed in many parts of the school to avoid litter and cutlery etc. not being returned to the canteen. However, our common room is situated particularly close to the Atrium and has several bins inside the room itself and have had no complaints from the teachers about our use of the room to date. We simply feel that with the new rule of being unable to eat inside our common room, the point of having the common room is defeated as our principle activity inside the common room is socializing while eating lunch without needing to sit in the crowded atrium.

We think that a better way of tackling this problem would be to fully implement the anti-litter rules inside the common rooms, putting more focus onto getting the pupils to take responsibility for cleaning the rooms themselves, which we are more than willing to do. A possible compromise we have come up with would be to disallow food being brought in from the school cafeteria, but to allow packet lunches to be eaten in the common room. This would make the issue of cutlery and dishes not being returned to the cafeteria no longer a problem and would allow food to be consumed inside the common room as before.

Just to be clear, we are in no way opposed to cleaning the common room ourselves before the end of lunch. We are only asking for permission to eat food during lunch inside the common room as opposed to having to find spaces in the atrium which makes the common room pointless as explained above.

It would be greatly appreciated by the users of the drama studio if you could get in touch as soon as possible so that we could talk over the issues raised above. I can be contacted in Mr. Greens classroom every morning during registration if you want to get in touch. Alternatively you can contact Ben Howell (5L2) in C13 who would also be able to discuss the problem with you.

Hey i got back from stirling a while back and as far as i know the others are still in stirling but here are mt photos. There was ten in total me, Laurie, kate, lisa, gillian, hannah, eilidh, Jamie (gills we sis), Kate and Ben. Fascinating things

Always All Ways - Lostprophets is REALLY RATHER AMAZING i think. :) was listening to it on the bus home from stirling yesterday.

Right now there is an alarm thingy going off at the petrol station next door, and its REALLY LOUD and its not like a normal alarm, its like BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP its so annoying. sore head sore head! and there is no one around to switch it off. argH!!GG!H!GH!
