Poem

Hey guys i wrote a poem over the weekend and i thought that i would post it. Hope you like it and please comment on what you think. :-) Its called I Watch

I watch,
as groups divide
and others form,
I watch,
as friendships erode
and others grow stronger,
I watch,
as storm crowds brew
and anger subsides,
I watch,
as arguments explode
and apologies are exchanged,
I watch,
as friends leave
and never return,
I watch,
as tolerant faces laugh at
jokes they do no find funny,
I watch,
as intolerant faces contort
and twist in anger,
I watch,
as my whole world changes
and I drag my heels against it.

I bet none of you can tell who the poem is based on (and if you cant its more than one person). There was a shape to it but blogger doesn't seem to understand the principle of mulitple spaces. Please post any criticism (although positive is preferred) but dont be to harsh. thanks
