12 Hours in Glasgow

Gawd i was tired last night.
Here is how the wonderfulness that was yesterday unfolded...

I got up quite early to go into glasgow to go and see my gran and aunt may. My iPod was being annoying but its fine now. got in, we had some time to kill before we met them so we wandered about in buchanan galleries. then i saw kate morton (wheyhey!) so we went over to her and she was all lonely so i wandered off with her for a bit. She was going to meet her friends Joanie and Nicolle (hope thats how u spell them) so we wandered down to meet them. they kept getting lost so it took us a while. then just as we met them i had to go to meet my gran and folks, so off i went. it was nice seeing aunt may again, we dont see much of her really. had lunch in merchant city. it was really nice. yum. then shortly after that i wandered off to meet kate. she says i walk fast cos i was at the far end of argyle street and she was in H+M in the galleries when i first called her and we agreed to meet half way, then i called her 5 mins later and i was almost in the galleries and she hadnt even left H+M lol.
So met back up with her and J and N, who, might i mention, are the most luverly people on earth. :D they are so freaking funny. so we sat in the food court on the top floor of buchanan galleries for a while and stuck stickers on each other. i got one that sed KATES PENIS stuck to me and kate had one saying "Hi, I am way cooler than you" which was pretty cool. doing that was def one of the most happy times of my life recently. we laughed A LOT. it was just so cool. :D Here are a few pics:




Then after that, what happened.... ah yes. we wandered about glasgow for AGES. it was quite busy. we went to the art store and got a few bits and bobs. then J + N had to catch their train. so we saw them away and went back to the art store to buy the stuff we ddnt hav time to buy a moment ago.
Then kate and me walked down to meet Ali, who had got an earlier bus in. he went to the coffee police box thing and asked for a normal coffee and the guy was all "this is the 21st century man! what KIND of normal coffee" so i decided id stick to frescatos from costa. :)

Then we had no idea what to do for the next 3 or 4 hours until the others were meeting up. so ali took us to his fav litle cafe on great western road. we got the underground 4 stops to Kelvinbridge i think. the cafe was quite kl. i had a cappuccino. and a weird biscuit. wasnt very nice. but i ate kates too lol. and the music the guy was playing was very dramatic. then we decided NOT to get the underground back, we decided to WALK :O (i kno eh!?) but im glad we did. i got to see lots of nice things and places. the big park there is nice. me and ali decided to go on the big slide thing lol. it was pretty um... crap. but totally worth it. kate must have thought we were such goons. We saw the strange one legged horse statue. :S then walked all the way back into glasgow. OOOOOOOOFT it was tiring.
then we were just about in time to meet the folks coming on the bus. So we went to the bus station and met sarah and max. then we had to go down to the train station to meet Matt. we had A LOT of fun moonwalking on the motorised walkways in the station. :D sarah got thoroughly confused though.
So we then wandered a bit. Then most of the group went into this pub by the station, and me and sarah went to get jocelyn. we met her by topshop and walked back down again (my feet were KILLING me by now) and went to find the others in the pub. it was a nice place. we all crammed ourselves round a table and had a merry old time. :P

THEN...
we went to the cinema. we saw something nights: the ballad or ricky bobby. it was ok. fun to watch with friends. quite funny. but not a great film by any means. twas funny in the cinema tho cos ali was rather , um, LOUD shall we say?
then we wandered down to macdonalds to get a mcflurry for jocelyn and then to the train station to um, play on the walkways again, and then again, and again, and then we sed by to max and matt who were getting the train.
then those left (me, sarah, ali, jocelyn) wandered about for a while. we went to Subway and ali got a sandwich (like u do) but he shared it with us all so it was gone pretty fast, lucky enuf tho by that time we were right next to another subway, so he got another one.. and the same thing happened again. so we got ANOTHER one, and went to the bus station to eat it. it went everywhere i got sauce all over me and the were bits of cucumber and salad on the floor lol. eventually we got on the bus at about 11.40pm, and on the way back jsut chatted and laughed. mostly at other peoples expense. but hey, thats us for ya!
i was the last one off the bus in balfron. it was about 10 to 1 in the morning and i was SHATTERED. but i had an amazing day, meeting new people and arseing about with my mates :D
Would gladly do it again some day.
Just need better shoes i think.
