Screen Resolution pissing me off!

Ok , i was at lauries the other day, and i noticed everthing on her
computer look blurry. Turns out she was running her screen at 800x600
pixels, thats TINY , no room to breathe!
You kno, flatscreens have a set number of pixels and look perfect when
u match the computer setting to the amount of pixels in ur screen. at
any other setting they look blurry and weird.
SO now laurie is running at about 1200x1600 or sumthing, and shes got a
razor sharp image and LOADS of space.
So this is me asking all of you now...

If you have a newish screen, use it to its full potential!

Mac OS X : System Preferences > Monitor > Then click the highest
option in the list on the left.
Windows XP: Right click desktop> Properties> Settings> Then adjust the
wee slider on the bottom left to a highER option, dont go to the
highest right away, go up and up until u hit the one where it looks
best.

For those of you with older (non flatscreen) monitors, um.... Hi! can u
hear me back there in 1997?! feel free to join us in 2006! sheesh!

Just thot id mention it cos it annoys me.
